Daphne Brogden



     Originally from Culver City, Daphne has spent the past few years acting in films and theatre, hosting television and radio programs, as well as voicing numerous movie trailers and commercials. Daphne is also a stand-up comedian with training in theater sports and improv.

     More recently, Daphne has hosted the programs "Cool Tech", "The Web", and "C/NET Central" all on USA Network/Sci-Fi Channel. In "The Web", Brogdon wrote, created, and performed a segment called "Digital Dish". In addition, Brogdon has also hosted "Movie Showcase" on DirecTV, and "TiVo Takes" on TiVo. Brogdon has also co-hosted programs on the Oxygen Network, appeared as co-host on "Hey, Dr. Dean" on local station affiliates in San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as appearing as a regular on the popular syndicated radio show, "The Dr. Dean Edell Show".

     Daphne's acting career has also flourished. She has held the lead in such independent films as: "Around The Fire", "Passing Masts", "Mips", "Angstrodam", and "Newton's Law". Brogdon even has her own solo stage show, "Radio Play" which performed in San Francisco, and co-founded and performed in the improv group "Scratch Theater," which toured the country.

     In July 2000, Daphne Brogdon joined the cast of THE X SHOW as one of four co-hosts. Each weeknight, Daphne and the other co-hosts will cover a broad range of stuff guys care about - from sports and money to technology and sex - with candor, unabashed honesty and humor.

     Daphne lives in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. Brogdon enjoys running, boxing, and weight-training.
