With the arrival of Gary Valentine as new co-host of THE X SHOW, viewers are warned to expect the unexpected. When this gifted comedian and improv specialist performs, there's no telling what his spontaneous, slightly-warped mind may think up next.
In September 2000, Gary Valentine joined the cast of THE X SHOW as one of four co-hosts (along with Craig Jackson, Daphne Brogdon and Bert Kreischer). Each weeknight, Gary and the other co-hosts will cover a broad range of stuff guys care about - from sports and money to technology and sex - with candor, unabashed honesty and humor.
Gary is no stranger to the late night television scene, as he co-hosted "Friday Night" on NBC and appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and Comedy Central's "Short Attention Span Theater." His television credits also include a reoccurring role, plus behind-the-scenes work as a staff writer for the hit series "The King of Queens" for the past three seasons.
Along with his acting and writing duties, Gary also manages to find time to tour the country as a stand-up comic. He has performed in Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles as well as being a member of a number of comedy troupes including "Sons of Myna Hunt," "Strike 3" and "East Side Players." One of the reasons he thinks co-hosting THE X SHOW will be great is "because I love to do improv, and that's something that we do a lot on this show."
Gary lives in a bachelor pad in Los Angeles that he shares along with his brother Kevin James, star of "The King of Queens." Gary claims he got him the job…and we believe him.
